Podcast #54 | Staying Active Throughout The Holidays
Listen Here
The holiday season is a wonderful time of year but it can be stressful. Travel, family gatherings, and added obligations all work together to try to throw us off our schedule.
It’s easy to forget about our running during this time and try to just survive instead.
But do you know how on the airplane they say, “in the event of an emergency, put on YOUR oxygen mask before helping others around you?”
That’s because if we don’t take care of ourselves first, how can we help others?
I challenge you this holiday season to be active and do something outside every day between Christmas Eve and New Year!
Stick to your training plan. If you have a rest day, get outside for a 30-minute walk.
When you stay active during the holidays and keep up with your training plan, you will be a happier person. You’ll have more energy to be your best for your family and friends this holiday season.
Don’t just survive the holidays. Be the best version of yourself you can be.
Get out there and be active.
In this episode of The Knighton Runs Podcast, Coach Chris shares the importance of staying active throughout the holiday season, challenges you to get outside every day during this time, and gives an update on his spring racing schedule and what he is doing differently to get faster in 2023.
