Meet Coach Chris Knighton
I’m Chris Knighton, a USATF-certified online running coach and founder of Knighton Runs Marathon Coaching. I help marathon and half marathon runners train with confidence, make smart decisions, and pursue ambitious goals with a personalized plan built around their lives.
I coach full time, work directly with every online athlete, and intentionally keep my roster small. That allows me to understand each runner’s history, review training closely, provide thoughtful feedback, and adjust the plan when fitness, recovery, work, family, or life changes.
Knighton Runs is based in Providence, Rhode Island. I coach committed runners throughout the United States and beyond through private 1:1 online running coaching, while Knighton Runs also offers in-person running lessons locally in Rhode Island.
Since 2019, I’ve coached more than 100 athletes pursuing goals ranging from stronger, more consistent training to personal bests and Boston Marathon qualifying times.
If you want an experienced coach who knows your training and is personally invested in your progress, explore private coaching with Knighton Runs.
